Overall, the village is very clean. Village has good sanitation facilities. However, since most homes are locked, migration is the primary problem. Most of the families has moved out of the community entirely and is now living abroad.

Environment: The water level has decreased by 10 feet in the past two years and by about 30 feet in the previous ten. Efflorescence (Shora) is a main problem regarding the water quality and main cause of this is dirty drains (Vei) and sugar mill wastewater is also drained into Vei, leading to Efflorescence (Shora). Because to the abuse of pesticides, crop productivity has decreased and has been dropping for some time.
Migration: Out of the total approximate 70-80% youngsters are migrated to foreign countries. On the other hand, the migration rate for entire families is about 50%.

The health analysis is based on 28 respondents from the original health camp survey.
28.6% of all respondents were identified in the ‘healthy’ range of BMI values, with the majority being the overweight category (46.4%) with a sizable amount of an obese population (21.4%). The BMI has been calculated from the height and weight data collected from all participants.
A random blood sugar test was also performed on all 28 respondents of the health camp survey. Using mg/dL categories outlined by the CDC (200+ being diabetes, and everything below 140 being normal) an indication of the level of diabetes within the village has been determined. Over 30% displayed blood sugar levels indicating diabetes or prediabetes.
